IMG_6063The other night after my photo session at the Toronto distillery district , my dear friend and talented photographer Claude and I decided to have dinner at El Catrin (an authentic Mexican restaurant) right at the distillery that opened up last summer but never had the chance to go. It’s a beautiful restaurant with an amazing decor, and good food. I say good instead of great because i recently had dinner with the girls at La Carnita which is also an antithetic Mexican restaurant on College street in Toronto, and that was foodgasm! their chicken tacos are to die for!. It’s not as fancy as El Catrin but amazing food, which made up for the 2 hour wait;). So having that to compare’ i’d go back to El Catrin for (baja) the fish tacos, which was my favorite for the night. We tried the (pollo con mole) chicken tacos, but after the ones i had at La Carnita i couldn’t go for seconds. For desert we tried the Churros which also wasn’t as good as the ones at La Carnita, and also wasn’t a fan of them serving it in a brown paper bag, but i decided to stuff them in their glass for photos hehe. All in all it was a great restaurant and the staff was very friendly. I plan to spend a lot of time at the Distillery this spring and summer if it ever gets here!  it was a very cold night and almost made it impossible to take photos.

My outfit: cape coat- Forever 21, top- Garage Clothing, skinny’s- H&M, bag- Chanel, C.Label Shoes

Love the colours and patterns – the colour of the shoes definitely catches my eye!
